So this was yesterday’s walk in our local Hertfordshire woodland with our 3 year old grandson. The sun lit up the leaves and trees, the whole wood, and our grandson found lots of fascinating things to inspect – as 3 year olds will.
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is a packed day. Equality and Diversity Forum meeting all morning. Meeting at the national Baha’i Centre in London in the afternoon. And then our annual Ridvan Baha’i reception in the House of Commons in the evening.
Weekend
The UK Baha’i National Convention takes place over the coming weekend. Ninety-five delegates from all over the UK will gather in Llandudno, North Wales, to elect the Baha’i community’s national governing council, the National Spiritual Assembly, for the coming year. I hope for a dry, sunny weekend. LLandudno can be cold and wet.

And here’s an interesting article on the US Baha’i website about Baha’i elections. They’re spiritual, not political. No one stands for election, there’s no canvassing, and the election itself – by secret ballot – is surrounded by prayer.
Blogging?
So I may not be able to add to Barnabas Quotidianus until next week. We’ll have to see.
But I’ll be back. So don’t go away.

Yes, it was a really lovely afternoon altogether.
I’ll be back? Was that an intentional quote from the Terminator?
Sorry to say I didn’t notice that it was, of course, the quote from The Terminator. I can’t have been paying attention!
