US House of Representatives condemns persecution of Baha’is in Iran

I’ve just learned from a contact in the US that the US House of Representatives has passed a resolution condemning the persecution of the Bahá’ís in Iran.
Resolution H. Res. 1008 passed by a vote of 408 to 3.
This is the text of the resolution:

Unbiased article about Baha’i Faith in Egyptian newspaper

I was happy to read on Bilo’s blog, Bahá’í Faith in Egypt and Iran, that the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Masry Al-Youm, had interviewed representatives of the US Bahá’í Office of External Affairs about the Bahá’í Faith and about the situation of the Bahá’ís in Egypt.
