I’m going to be away from my beloved blog for a two or three days.
Tomorrow and Saturday I’m going to be spending much of the day sharing the message of Bahá’u'lláh with the citizens of Hatfield, a town just south of where I live. There’s a four-day project involving a number of Bahá’ís – and I’m one of them.
The days will be long, so I don’t think I’m going to be up to blogging when I get home. Bed, not blog, will be the rule.
Anyway, I should be able to write something on Sunday, perhaps Monday. I just wanted to let you know that Barnabas is still here and that BQ is not dying – just taking a short pause.

Great example for us all, Barney. Teaching is the ultimate pleasure and service. (Sometimes I rate blogging as high as second.) I will say prayers for the success of your efforts.
This weekend I will be going out with the friends doing follow-up visits to seekers from our most recent door-to-door campaign here in Tacoma.
George, thank you for your kind comments and for your prayers.
I love my blog and I love blogging, but sharing the healing message of Baha’u'llah directly with people beats blogging into a cocked hat!
I will be writing here about my experience over the past two days, but I can say it had its ups and downs. There were many precious experiences, but there is something daunting about facing a long street in which most of the people who answer their doors do not wish to learn about Baha’u'llah. You know you are going to knock on every door. You are praying that ‘Abdu’l-Bahá is standing behind the door, but you know that many of the souls in these homes are more concerned to defend their privacy and themselves than to be open to something new.
Anyway, more today or (more probably) tomorrow.
