UK Bahá’í community’s new blog

The UK Bahá’í National Spiritual Assembly has just posted a new blog as an outlet for news from the Bahá’í community.

UK Bahá’í News has got off to a good start with several stories about public reactions to last month’s arrests of the Bahá’í leaders in Iran. But the editorial team is planning to cover a wider range of stories from and about the Bahá’ís in the UK and across the world.

Do add it to your links and follow the stories in your newsreaders.

That’s a great initiative, although I’m not sure about the layout and functionality of a site.
I mean it’s meant as a blog but since it’s purpose is to cover news etc., the editorial team could perhaps think of changing a wordpress theme to a more suiatable one. Google for ‘magazine style wordpress theme’ and you’ll see what I mean.

Sorry Barney…I don’t want to criticize but as a web developer/designer I could not resist not to write this.

I know friends are putting a lot of their time and effort in to project so I wish the team who is doing this all the best.

Cheers, t.

Hi, Tomaz, it’s really a starting point. It was relatively quick and easy to set up and we hope it will evolve once we see how it goes. I did think about going for a magazine style theme, but decided for something more basic to start with. The National Assembly is pleased with it, but, as I say, it will undoubtedly evolve.

@ it’s really a starting point…
I know how that goes… If you wait that something to be perfect right from the start then things never get done… Like I said wish you all the best
