Omid Djalil, seriously funny
Times Online - UK

Apparently Omid has some illustrious Baha'i heritage. You can find stories about the Baha'i poets Nayyir and Sina in "Fire on the Mountain Top" by Gloria Faizi, pages 5 to 21.

I watched the third show on Saturday. For me it was funnier than the first two. It also included another Baha'i actor/comedian, Dana Haqjoo, in the sketch in which Omid plays the Godfather figure with a very bad memory. Dana was the sidekick who was being told off by Omid.

I'll keep on whatching the guy who says I shouldn't say I am persian, but iraninan... Come on! I am persian :-D

I've seen one trailer on the BBC for tomorrow night's show. It looks like it might even better than the first one. Let's hope RUV will broadcast the show next year - you should enjoy it.

I really enjoy Omid's skits. He performed for the staff at the World Center when I was there and he showed a one-man play I don't remember what it is called anymore :( But it was excellent! My stomach was hurting from laughter. :D

I believe the the Icelandic State TV (RUV) will be showing the episodes after the new year. I relly look forward to it! :)

He may not conform to what some people imagine the “ideal” Baha’i to be, but he knows what makes him tick. It’s not for the Baha’i community to censor him either overtly or by covert social pressure.
