Off and back on again
You may have noticed that Barnabas Quotidianus disappeared for a day or two. Unfortunately the server I was using got deleted (without warning and for no good reason), so I am now using another webhost and have only just managed to reload the SQL database and my Wordpress theme. It’s not a great loss that anything I posted after 26 August has disappeared, but I’ll have to spend a bit of time getting the blog fettled up again.

We are happy to see you back.
Thanks, David, it’s good to be back.
If you have any more problems, I’ve found Dreamhost to be really great. (I expect you’ll tell me now that they were the guys that lost everything!)
Thanks for the suggestion, Tess. I’ve now signed up with a host in the US called Lunarpages, so I hope there won’t be any more disruption. Of course, you never know!
Portuguese flag is on the left, so everything is right.
Thanks to the modern-day wonder of feed readers, I have your three blog posts from after the 26th archived on my computer, I can send them to you if you feel the need to repost them. But good to see you back
Rory, many thanks for your kind offer. I’m happy to say that they’re also archived on Technorati, but I don’t think I’ll bother reinstating them. Life has moved on!
