I think it’s just a story otherwise that would be too much bad.
I always wondered why they were not sitting up straight at lift off. They were obviously all too drunk to position themselves properly in their seats.

Presumably the astronauts wouldn’t have been able to open the lids of their helmets to use the breathalyzer!

Good thinking, Abdur Rahman! How would you use a breathalyzer in a vacuum?
Of course Muslim and Baha’i astronauts wouldn’t cause NASA such problems!
Indeed! And, presumably, it would be impossible to use the American-style drunkeness test, as you’d be wobbling too much in the vacuum anyway!
