Erratic blogging
OK, I’ll own up. I’m an erratic (no, not the word with an ‘o’ where the ‘a’ is and only a single ‘r’) blogger. I could tell you that I have been busy - well it’s true, guv, honest! But that’s not a reason for not posting something.
The reality is that I have been feeling shattered in the evenings after work, and in the mornings (my most productive writing time) other things (like work) have got in the way.
Yes, I know it’s a feeble excuse, but it’s mine, all mine, and I’m sticking to it.
Actually, I did set out to write about the Commonwealth Day Observance that I attended on Monday in Westminster Abbey, and I want to tell you about the memorial gathering I attended today for Sheikh Dr Zaki Badawi, one of the most prominent Muslims in the UK. But my Commonwealth Day post ran out of steam midway - not the post, so much as the poster - and I haven’t the energy to tell you about my encounter with HRH Prince Charles on Monday evening.
But I will, dear hearts, I will.
